About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover the world ;) and make people smile! :P

ABOUT ME

I'm a small girl with big expectations of life:) I would like to see and learn as much as i can. I study medicine in the city of Maribor for the 6th year and I'm very happy with it. I have a little brother Nejc (well he is 21 already.. :P) and a little sister Nina, who is now 9 and she occupies a lot of my time with fun and learning. I really like my family (I think that`s the most important part of people`s life) and I am looking forward to create my one. I really like meeting new people and I enjoy exchanging each others philosophy of life.

PHILOSOPHY

To travel is to live.
Never forget about who you are and where you come from.
Appreciate and cherish what you have.
Live your life knowing that it can end any second.
You can`t win the lottery if you don`t buy the ticket.
After the rain comes the sun. (and it usually shines warmer and brighter than it would if there were no rain).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with my boyfriend in a student dorm and we don`t really have any place for you to stay. But in a few years we will make sure we have some room for couchsurfers... ;)
We did host friend Melanie, great girl from Texas in the summer for a week. We met in Paris a few years ago on CS event and we have been friends ever since. She promised us to visit us once and she did in summer 2012. The experience of hosting was really great and I loved it. Can`t wait to do it again in the future! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went couchsurfing with my boyfriend and my little sister in Vienna and I had a really great experience.
I was in Paris for a week with my boyfriend. We stayed with four different hosts, all were really great.
We were also couchsurfing in Medan, Indonesia. Our host was really amazing and he helped us with everything, even got us chinese meds when we got sick and ours didn`t help. :)
Can`t wait to have some more experiences, because I love CS and couchsurfers.

Interests

In my free time I like to sing, dance, draw and read books and watch good movies. I also like to hang out with my friends and my boyfriend of course. ;) I am actually interested in everything, because I think you should try everything at least once. So I am trying to find some new hobbies, for instance I just started playing ukulele (never played any instrument before so that will be ineteresting :)). But most of all I love to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of movies or music or books. But I especially like historic movies like Troy, Gladiator, or fantasy movies like Lord of the rings, Harry Potter, Narnia and so on, romantic; Father of the bride 1 and 2, Love actually, P.S. I love you, Valentines day, and also dramas and so on and on. I really like books with message for life or sometimes just something easy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was backpacking with my boyfriend Zan in Indonesia last year. In a month I experienced things I never imagined and it is hard to just pick a few of the best moments.. But I know I will never forget trekking in Bukit Lawang, Sumatra. We were only five backpackers and a guide and cook, we were walking through the jungle for a day and before the sun went down we stopped and made camp near some water, some sort of stream. There was a group of monkeys that followed us and after a night in the jungle they woke us up trying to find our food.. In the morning we took a shower under a waterfall in a small pool. After breakfast the guide took us to the river where some boys were waiting for us with inner tubes of tractor wheels and we went rafting: the river was amazing and the riverbanks - jungle all around us with huge trees... The feeling of that two days was overwhelming, complete happiness. :)
In Yogyakarta we saw the most beautiful sunrise on Borobudur, Mahayana Buddhist monument.
