I am a 36 year old Canadian ESL teacher who has recently returned from living in China with my young family for two years. My husband, Craig, is a student. My boys are 3 and 5. Since we have one child just starting kindergarten and my husband is in school, I think we will limit availability to weekends for the time being.

My brother, Quinn, hosted in Vancouver and now in Montreal and loved the experience. Thought we'd give it a try! My husband and I are alumni of the Junior Farmers' Association of Ontario and through that both our families have hosted lots of international delegates. We love meeting people from all walks of life and learning something new from everyone we meet!

I like a variety of music, especially folk, but also Latino, older country, some rock, pop, etc. My favourite movie was Life is Beautiful. Love books, hard to pick a favourite! A few that stand out are: The Light Between Oceans, When Breathe Becomes Air, Wild Swans and Simplicity Parenting.
