About Me
**Not here to date or host men**
I've gone from a tentative host to more of a nomad. Love the couchsurfing community!
American-born, but I consider myself more of a world citizen. I love to meet people from all around the world and understand their hearts and cultures. You'll usually find me surrounded by a multi-cultural group of friends, discussing our passions, and often eating Indian food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the Couchsurfing community! Everywhere I go, I meet people who have an openness to the world around them. There’s so much less of a consumeristic mentality that I know when I meet a Couchsurfer they’re going to have amazing stories to tell and have a craving for experiencing life in front of them.
Sure, having a free place to stay is nice once in a while. But making a new friend and seeing the world through another’s eyes is priceless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It seems more normalized to me now, but I'm still very proud of the time when I sold my house, realized that a plane ticket was cheaper than rent, and took a housesitting gig in France. It takes a lot of courage to leave everything behind to start a new life, and I have no regrets.
Second most amazing thing: put myself out there and started a YouTube channel about navigating cross cultural communication as a remote worker. Curious? Give it a gander: https://youtube.com/@cultureconfidence
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy discussing cross-cultural communication (how it applies in business or personal settings), comparing ideas on living simplistically, talking about my latest project (if I have one), and learning about who you are at a deeper level.
