ABOUT ME
I made it through college and now I have to actually figure out what to do with my life. With a degree in sociology there are endless possibilities- we'll see how far my sociological imagination will take me.
Sometimes I like to read, go on a hike, or brew some beer. A lot of times I like to spend time with family and good friends.
Basically I'm just trying to enjoy one day to the next and figure out what my next adventure will be.
PHILOSOPHY
Never take life too seriously. The most important thing is to laugh and love- life is too short to worry about the little things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only surfed or what my friend likes to call it "couch hopped". I love going new places and meeting new people- so hoping I can also meet some new faces around Charleston as well!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My one time couch surfing was a once in a life time experience! It is the best way to get a feel for a new place by meeting the natives (without spending a fortune)

Music, Movies, and Books
Enjoy reading things such as memoirs or anything that gives me an outlook on someone else's life.
I like to listen to music I can sing to or calm me (Indie, folk), and I also can't resist a good Gaga beat to dance to.
As for movies, I like to watch anything as ridiculous as the toxic avenger to hilarious as anchorman, but as serious and thrilling as the black swan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Studied abroad in Berlin and traveled all around Europe.
Teach, Learn, Share
Recently learned how to brew beer- so I can either teach a little of that, but still have a lot more to learn! I also started an art workshop for the homeless, could use some cheap/simple art project ideas for that.
I'd really like to get back into playing music, but need an instrument to do that. (used to play piano and flute) I think a Banjo or something like that would be fun to learn. So if you have one lying around let me know.
