About Me
Hola :) I'm Ceci, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Traveling is my main passion. I love the feeling of freedom and the growth one achieves as a person, especially through cultural exchange. I believe that by meeting people from different parts of the globe you come to realize that we're actually all the same, so cultural frontiers demolish. Traveling is the best way to connect to others and avoid prejudices, it actually makes you a better person. Better people, better world.
My degrees state that I'm a professional in International Relations and Political Science. I thank my academic formation for broadening my mind and for the deepening of my social conscience. However, I don't believe that only these labels define me as a person.
My preferred way of traveling is backpacking, as it goes with my adventurous way of being, and also, because traveling low cost allows you to meet local people and submerge into different cultures. This is why I believe having a couchsurfing experience is ideal for me.
I'm an outgoing, fun and happy person. I love chatting, sharing moments and stories (back home we gather with friends and family around a "mate"), making new friends, reading, writing, running and cycling. I'm also a yogi, a way of being that combines perfectly with my environmental conscience.
I have basic guitar knowledge (that I'd like to increase), and enjoy singing. Moreover, one of the things I enjoy the most is adrenaline and extreme sports. I have done different activities, such as jumping from a fall in Costa Rica, paragliding in Colombia, and skydiving in Chascomús, Argentina. As I said before, I love the feeling of freedom!
I love listening to life stories, having deep conversations and information exchange, specially about culture, politics and history.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe that there're no actual boundaries between people no matter in what land they were born. Couchsurfing represents this idea, a real international community. Also, it allows you to travel like a local, which is the kind of traveling I enjoy the most.
