I am a PhD student in Lyon. I work in neurosciences, and study the neural basis of touch.
I am curious, friendly, crazy, tall, open-minded, and I love a lot a thing, but mostly discovering thing I don't know.

I love travelling, but I don't have much occasion to do so. Fortunately, I live in a great city where there is always something to explore !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started almost 7 years ago now, when I moved to Canada. The first person to host me became a good friend, and it definitively made me want to keep meeting other CS people !

I had a lot of experiences now, mostly from travelling in North America and Great Britain. I think 80% have been positive.
Travelling for me is not just seeing the monuments and the attractions, but also talking with the people living there. And I also love hearing people stories.

I'm open-minded and curious. I take an interest in eveything !

I love hearing over people life journey, to learn how how they get where they are now.

I am a big TV shows addict, and a science junkie, so I'll most likely visit anything related. I also love food, I'll try as much food as I can from a place.

Books : Polar (all Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes too) fantasy and SF (Ray Bradbury, Pierre Boule, Tolkien,Orwell, Wells,...) and basically any well-written book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen whales in Quebec, swam with a shark in The Keys, pet a Galapos turtle in San Diego, and a kangaroo in Tampa !
I have travelled a lot in the US and the National Parks : Yosemite, Sequoia, Death Valley, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon. All so beautiful !

I have been on CS for a while, and I noticed that some guys mistake it for Tinder. So don't bother sending me offers to host me only if "you think I'm cute" of if "you only have one bed to share".
