About Me

I'm a French musician currently living in Nantes (France) but very often on the road.

Life has become crazy cool, but I can tell I had difficulties finding my own path.
Let me explain to you why, if you are those CS who spend some time on reading profiles :) .

Until my 20 years old, I was not myself. As many students of my age, I was following what society wanted me to do without knowing who I really was. I just had to be the best I could be (at school, in music, or in sports). And I was unhappy, deeply unhappy.

Travels and music were the only way to escape this insane system.
My first travel to New Zealand in 2011 was a kind of revelation and I kept on traveling every year.

As a cello player, I also understood that music was also essential for me to "survive" this crazy life and I played as much as I could.

When I was 20, my life suddenly changed : as I was horseriding through the Mongolian steppes, I realized that I let life pass me by. Despite my fear, I decided to wake up to take my own way: I stopped my law studies from then and took a gap year to try to learn about myself.

Things have become obvious since 5 years : I know what I love (music, social work, and travels) and I found a way to combine them in my studies (Master Degree in Cultural Management) before realizing my dream : become a professional musician (cello player) in France or overseas.

During my studies, I spent a lot of time in South-East Asia to work as an intern for cultural organisations.
Cambodia was the country that won my heart and I could spend hours to explain you why.

I am now done with my studies and am starting the fascinating life of a professional cello player. That's really cool despite difficulties!

PHILOSOPHY :

Smile, believe and share.

Interests

What I enjoy the most is music and traveling.

I'm a cellist since I'm 6 years old and I love improvising for hours with friends or random people, in the street, in jams sessions or anywhere else.

I love travelling since my early childhood: I've been to New-Zealand, Nicaragua, Nepal, Mongolia, Croatia, Iceland, USA (California), Europe, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China (Yunnan, Sichuan, Guilin & Yangshuo), Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan. And I'm always looking forward to discovering new places :).

I also like sports, such as skiing, trekking (I love it!), running into the wild, capoeira. I would love to learn surfing and kite-surf (I wish I could live next to the ocean one day!).

And I really enjoy cooking, eating (local specialities, mmmh), drinking wine (French lady!) partying, socializing, laughing, listening to music, jamming, improvising, going to concerts, meeting new people and new places...
