About Me

I've been told I'm pretty enthusiastic and energetic! But I'm also easy-going, down for just about anything and I love talking with anyone and everyone. I also love being active and trying different things, like food and sports and any other cool activities people have to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's simple: there's no better way to experience a new place than to stay with a local. New friends and good times!

Interests

Is it weird to say that my greatest interest is meeting new people? And talking with them? And doing fun things with them? Besides that, I really really enjoy traveling and finding myself in new, strange and challenging situations. Being out of my element is my element. And having some good music along the way is absolutely necessary! I also like sports, food (but not really cooking), pubs, writing, chocolate and port wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock, classic rock, reggae, folk, country, house, techno, hip hop, rap, indie, soul and jazz. For example, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Marley, Mumford and Sons, Keith Urban, Alesso, Tiesto, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Black Keys, Wilson Pickett, Louis Armstrong and everyone inbetween. Honourable mentions are The XX, Alt-J, The Sheepdogs, Mumford and Sons, Supertramp, K'naan and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Just to name a few.
Movies: they're all pretty cool, but V for Vendetta, EVERY SUPERHERO MOVIE and all the Lord of the Rings films are great.
Books: I love them. but I really like a cool mix of fiction and non fiction inside a novel. It makes the story even more real and I learn cool stuff along the way. For example, The Book of Negroes. GREAT book!
