About Me

Hello, my name is Cecilia - I am part Danish, part Swedish, and then I have some Polish roots in me as well.

I always enjoy a good challenge; if it is a good game of cards or if it's to see who swims the fastest - it does not matter, I'm in.

Some people would say that food is overrated. I am NOT one of those people - I eat everything (except for meat - I am a pescetarian). So Paradise for me would probably be to wake up in mountains of food. If I had all the time and the money in the world I would probably travel the world, and eat the traditional dishes of the worlds countries all day and all night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Socialising while traveling is probably the best thing I know. That way I find that Couchsurfing is good match for me.

Interests

Travelling , love it to death! Have far from been everywhere yet (so far I have only been in Europe) , but every other continent in the world is on my list, that is for sure.
I like being active as well; getting the adrenaline pumping for a little while from fx doing sports. I was a swimmer for 10 years, did a lot of competitions and a lot of new friends. I liked it very much. Unfortunately I had to stop because of a smaller injury in my shoulder.
I like cooking - I'm not the best at it, but I think it is fun when you can make a dish with your own touch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago I went on a school trip with my high school class. Everybody who wanted to go diving were offered, but those of us who had a certificate to scuba diving were offered to go to a little bit cooler place to dive. So we went on a two hour drive on a very bumpy road, with an instructor that told us everything about the Iceland. We got to the place, got in the water, and instantly, I was amazed by the colors of the ocean, the fish and even the rocks. After diving in the grey water in Denmark it is pretty easy to be amazed.
After that, the next evening we were offered to go diving again - only this was at night. This, my friends, was amazing. The night time is an entire other thing. We might not have seen that much, because of our sometimes difunctional flashlights, but the animals we did see were beautiful - we saw an octopus, my finger was almost eaten by an animal that scooted out through a rock wall, and the feeling of the adrenalin pumping around in my veins was just amazing!
