I'm a first-generation Chinese-American that grew up in San Diego, California. I'm currently enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles. I hope to go Pre-Medicine in the future. I really like music (I played piano and violin) and figure skating (I still compete today).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've lived in California my entire life. I've been traveling more often over the past few years, and I'm absolutely hooked. The only problem is how much money it takes to be able to travel. Hopefully, with Couchsurfing, I'll be able to see more of the world! I just hope to be able to appreciate the beauty of other countries without breaking my wallet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in Fiji for two weeks a couple years ago. I lived with a host family for a couple days. I helped build the foundation for a school, teach the local children a lesson in English, and farm taro root on a farm. It's a third world country, so I even had to bathe in a river!
