Overview
About Me
Hello,
my name is Cecilia and I live in Brescia, a sunny and lively city in northern Italy. I recently graduated in medicine at university and I work as a piano teacher, mostly with children. I’ve been in love with music since I was little and graduated from conservatory where I studied classical piano. Now I am working so maybe I could study in the field of psychotherapy, in the future.
These are the things I’m sincerely passionate about,
I think about them as two parts of a same everyday world I am really grateful for. I’m still finding the path.
I try to find beauty in little and quiet things, to stay humble and let the light of what I love guide me, even when things get a little bit darker.
I really value taking care of things, of people, and I appreciate real things, spaghetti and sincere people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to travel and visit places I’ve never seen before, as I want to learn more about this world and its people. Couchsurfing is a place where to meet real human beings with their stories and way of thinking, a place of mutual sharing , and I really like that.
I’m just sorry not to be able to host people at the moment, since I’m currently living with other people and it wouldn’t be easy, but I hope I’ll move to my own place in some time and be able to do it.
Interests
Art, kindness, talking with people about what they love, walking in the woods when it rains. I really like rain and trees and autumn.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really passionate about music and literature, expecially poetry and theatrical works. I don’t have a favourite musical genre but I’m always ready to discover new things. Some of the music I find magic into was written by Leonard Cohen, Björk, Radiohead, Florence and the Machine, Ravel, Satie, David Bowie (there are too many to write down)
I really value live music, sharing that unique moment of time and emotion with other human beings, listening or having something to say all in the same place. And losing yourself in the music itself, swinging or jumping or happily headbanging.
I really like silence too.
(And creating new sounds from little tiny waves with synthesizers)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve tripped over my own feet and fallen down in every year-end school recital from nursery school to high school
I also went hiking in the Alps mountains during the night this summer and saw some shooting stars and fireflies all at once
Teach, Learn, Share
I could share some of the things I’ve learnt with music and my not-so-many years of life, teaching some piano and helping cooking.
Most of all, I really like learning new things and sharing stories, so I would be happy to listen if you like stories too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
some cooking skills, my thoughts, helping with houseworks, singing christmas songs
