Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I find Couchsurfing as a great opportunity to meet new people and approach the cultures of the countries I'm traveling to in a closer. I tend to be a shy girl, so I also see it as a great opportunity to work on my social skills and show myself that there is nothing to be afraid of.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love music: britpop, classic rock, a bit of grunge, not so much hardcore stuff; I can bear electronic music, rap, hip hop, but their not the type of music I listen to for aural pleasure. Lately I've been listening to the 80’s one hit wonders..

My favorite movie is Billy Elliot. I also like Fight Club, Trainspotting, Submarine, The Libertine. I am always open to see any type of movie as long as I have good company.

Talking about books, I really like dystopian novels, 1984 by George Orwell and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury introduced me to this quite interesting genre. I must say, too, that I am a fan of the Harry Potter saga.

I'm an English as a foreign language teacher, I love learning languages and teaching Mexican Spanish slang (so much fun). I'm good at cooking, it would be my pleasure to make some real Mexican food to my hosts.
