About Me

CURRENTLY NOT IN THE NETHERLANDS

I'm a 19 year old student who is currently loving the student-life and all the freedom it offers. I really like having housemates and the international environment of my university. I have lived all my life in Amsterdam, but I moved to Middelburg (little town in the south of the Netherlands) for my bachelor. Both cities have a place in my heart. So if you want to discover one of these places, I am more than happy to show you around:).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for me a way to meet new people from all over the world, learn about different cultures, to have a different travel experience and discover places from a local's perspective. Besides that I am always open to new adventures and experiences and I believe Couchsurfing is a great way to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Probably the most difficult question....
Filmmusic is one of my favorite music genres, but also other genres such as jazz, classical music and French music. I like artists such as Hozier, Billy Joel, Adele, Bon Iver, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Mumford & Sons etc....
I'm surprised that series are not mentioned since I like to watch series more often than movies. As this list is really long, I will only mention Orange is the New Black.
I often wish I had more time to read, but definitely one of my favorite books is 'La Superba' by Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer. Also Harry Potter of course, but that goes without saying;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is a never ending process which I hope to benefit from as long as possible and make the best of. I hope I will never deny an opportunity to learn from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My delicious home-made carrot cake!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Russian Federation, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), South Africa, Spain
