Overview
About Me
I'm a human rights lawyer. Love my dog, my friends, food, nature, travel, politics. Political organizing and cause lawyering have played a central role in my life for the past 7 years. Life can be simulteaneously beautiful and ridiculous. Silence is important to me, but so is human interaction with people who have solidarity and a genuine sense of humour.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people whose lives are rooted in the cities I'm visiting. I guess it helps me to understand where I'm at, instead of just consuming the experience of the place, if that makes sense. I've only used CS a couple of times and as a guest. I wanted to host people back home, but my job involved a lot of travelling, so didn't have the energy to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love my country and its insanely diverse music (El Efecto, Belchior, Ednardo, Rua do Absurdo, Alceu Valença, Geraldo Azevedo, Nação Zumbi, Sergio Sampaio, Jorge Mautner, Letrux, Metá Metá, Gal Costa, Maria Bethânia etc).
I haven't read fiction in forever. I really like Adelia Prado (a Brazilian writer and poet).
One of my favourite movies is "Toni Erdmann".
