About Me

ABOUT ME

Friendly, outgoing, happy girl! And a foodie! Love everything that most people here love: traveling, meeting new people. Also love yoga, meditation and looking at the stars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Met some AMAZING PPL while couch surfing. And have been into some pretty weird and interesting situations!!! Love this community.

Interests

While I was living in Rio, I loved going to the beach and going out for dinner with my friends after.
When I lived in NYC, definitely the restaurant and bar scene was my favorite thing to do but also going to parks during the day.
Now that I have been living in France, I usually cook dinner with my friends on weekends or we catch a movie.
I'm a yogi and love practicing in different countries.
Lastly, I'm also very curious about different cultures and, of corse, I love traveling around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

really hard question to answer, but i would say some of my favorite movies are: Moulin Rouge, Le Scaphandre et Le Papillon, the tree of life, the bling ring...
music is just as hard, but i guess my favorite bands are: Phoenix, Strokes, the Kooks, Lykke Li, Florence and the Machine, Monobloco, Jorgem Ben Jor, Chico Buarque, Joao Gilberto...
_____ 2016:
Have to add LORDE and Taylor Swift to the list.
______2023:
Adding Arcade Fire, Tame Impala, Marina Sena, Anitta, Billie Eilish and Harry Styles to the list.
Movies anything by Wes Anderson and Tim Burton also. Been getting to the classics lately, Really liked Godard's stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences in my life was to do volunteering work in cambodia. If anyone wants to do it, just let me know and i'll put you in touch with the buddhist monk that organizes it (one of the sweetests souls i've ever encouter).
______ 2016:
meditating in India was also lifechanging.
______2023:
Moving around the globe has been amazing as well. So far I have lived in: Rio (hometown), Paris, San Francisco, Santa Barbara (CA, USA), NYC and now Lille (FR).

Teach, Learn, Share

A tip for people trying to do the RTW trip: try focusing in less places and more time in each of them. After 3 months of intense traveling i'm starting to get tired of it and I wish I had spend more time with a slower pace in some parts.

If anyone is going to India i highly recommend going to Dharamkot/Mc Leod Gang/Bagshu and having meditation courses at the Tushita learning center!
