ABOUT ME

I've just finished my master thesis on pragmatic language impairment so am job hunting at the moment - if anyone needs a speech and language therapist, let me know!I love travelling but I've never been outside Europe. I do intend to at some point. However, I am a big fan of the unexotic - the places that are similar to where I live, yet slightly different.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been able to host for a while as my flatmate didn't feel comfortable with the idea. And before that I lived in the tiny village of Præstø - and for some reason my couch didn't really seem to be in demand there:) I did host one person though. Apart from that, I've met up for coffee with someone - but as I live in a small-ish place I don't really get the chance to participate that much...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted one guy from New Zealand and have met up with couch surfers abroad... not a lot - but I hope to change that.

Interests

Well, all the usual stuff like socialising, travelling etc.
I do volunteer work in a project called Hovedtropperne, where young people with brain damage get the chance to meet other people in the same situation.
Writing. Reading. Listening to music. Looking at random websites (my fave at the moment is cakewrecks.com - cakes with spelling mistakes=funny!). Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis. And speech therapy (it's fascinating!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Midsummer bonfire in Odense this week was pretty good... Oh, and York (England). Such an amazing place.
