ABOUT ME

Finally back in Cambodia after spending a total of 9 months in Bruxelles and Copenhagen - and reunited with my Norwegian husband who i working here for the Red Cross. I'm doing my final thesis - or trying to get as much done as possible before our first child arrives - expected in Jan. '10.
I will be open to host before the baby comes, after that I will try to participate in other ways (due to the small size of our apartment).
My husband was based in Mondulkiri until now, so living in the big city is new to us! I hope to meet likeminded people living in the Penh through CS.

Eager to host and to meet up with travellers or expats. Will share my knowledge on this wonderful country in the Cambodia-group.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I came to Bruxelles I really wanted to meet people outside of my work-setting (EP)- it seemed difficult at first, but then I joined CS and wow - that was a gateway to meeting the nicest people. Blx has a very active CS-community and it still makes me smile to think about all these people hosting concerts, dinners and yoga and taking me along on adventures.. I'm very grateful to them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard one! I been lucky enough to travel most of the world and lived in different places. But I have to say; working for 6 months on a literacy programme in remote areas of Northern Ghana. The spirit of the people amazed me - nobody can have a good laugh like them! They have such a generous and positive attitude to life even though the living conditions are extremely tough..
