Hi, everyone! My name is Cedar. I grew up in a coastal town in California called Santa Cruz. I then studied philosophy at UCLA and worked in the UCLA philosophy department for a year after I graduated. Santa Cruz and the rest of the Bay Area still has a special place in my heart but I'm currently staying near Mariposa, just outside of Yosemite. I recently came back from 10 months living abroad in London, and 5 months before that living in Germany. I had great couchsurfing experiences in Europe and since I now have a suitable place of my own, I would like to host other cool people and pass the karmic football...

I also want to help people travel cheaply and facilitate cultural exchanges.
