C is for courage, curious, and confused. I like late night bike rides in foreign countries, preferably with lots of hoots and hollers; watching people do things they are really incredibly amazingly good at; and being myself.Oh yeah, I also like sneaking into things. So far the best was Versailles.

Books: Annie Dillard makes me feel funny, in the best way. Dostoevsky makes me feel crazy, in an enlightening kind of way; Hemingway makes me feel drunk, in a hung over sort of way, and Calvin & Hobbes make me feel silly, in an inspired kind of way.Music: The Killers, Regina Spektor, The Shins, Counting Crows, Andrew Bird, Death Cab for Cutie, Coldplay, Lucindia Williams, Flaming Lips, Black Dub, Neil Young.Movies: Tree of Life, Love Actually, Meloncolia, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, In Good Company. And throw Hangover in there too, yeah, why not?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started and skied through an avalanche. True it was small, but an avalanche nonetheless.Line dried my clothes in teargas haze during the uprising in Egypt.circumnavigated the globe.Loved with my whole heart.Sakura.
