Reconnect with Europe after a long stint in the Americas. Learn some German and Czech. I just got laid off from a reporting job and want to take advantage of my free time before I have responsibilities again.

ABOUT ME

I'm keen on urban art, rural adventures, and learning languages. I like to play and teach stilt walking and juggling. I know how to build a fire, and brew a proper cup of coffee. My photography straddles the amateur and professional world.

Professionally, I am a mid-career journalist born in the U.S., educated in Hong Kong, and focused on Latin America. I've reported on everything from World Cup soccer protests in Brazil to the U.S. presidential debates in California and Nevada. No matter where you live, I'm particularly interested in how you interact with immigrants and refugees in your country.
