About Me
Currently living in Valencia as of Spring 2018.
Easy-going, friendly and honest to a fault. A free spirit in training and a bit of a late bloomer. I love to be in nature, gazing at the stars and meditating on the beauty of it all.
In October 2015 I am leaving it all behind to travel to Europe, starting with Spain. This is the craziest thing I've ever done and I'm feeling a lot of excitement for this huge turning point in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It has just been so great and fantastic meeting the people that I hosted. I feel bad for not having listened to my friend sooner and gotten on CS years ago!
I'm about to experience another aspect of Couchsurfing as I leave for Spain with no intent to return for ~18 months. I've read about the legendary bi-monthly meetups they have in many cities and can't wait to try those out!
Interests
I'm all over the place with my interests. A little bit of everything and I'm curious about trying every new thing that I learn about (provided I can afford it).
I'm a computer 'wiz' and have been since I was very young. I'm very interested in creating tools that help people, and empower them to help others. That's sort of the basis for the project I'm currently developing.
Music is an integral part of my life, I enjoy mostly listening but a bit of playing as well. I love to dance like no one's watching and chill around a fire on the beach with good company and new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Two of my favorites are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Synecdoche, New York. I like a lot of types of movies but I really don't like super hero or other blockbuster nonsense. I am looking forward to Ep.7 though!!
For music, it depends on the mood. For working I enjoy classical piano. For partying I love to dance to EDM. My favorite bands are probably Radiohead, Muse, Tame Impala and Pink Floyd. My number one source of listening music right now is simply googling "Majestic Casual" on youtube or on soundcloud.
I enjoy reading a lot as well, I read mostly science fiction and fantasy series but I like to throw in the occasional best seller here and there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done to date is probably decide to quit my 9-to-5 job 2 years ago to pursue my own projects.
I expect that in a year I'll be revising this section and saying the most amazing thing I've done is fly off to Spain!
Teach, Learn, Share
My friends describe me as a good teacher. I am always generous with my time and patient with my teaching. I can help you if you have any questions or problems with anything that has a computer in it. I'm generally very resourceful with anything and everything also and am always down to help a friend out.
I am fluent in both french and english and am currently learning spanish. I would love to take part in some language exchange.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a comfortable couch in a medium living room. I have A/C. I love to cook for my guests. I can also roll nice jays in case you want to fully absorb the spirit of the city =P
I live right next to the metro station which can get you anywhere in Montreal in record time. I am also within walking distance to downtown.
Last but not least I should also mention that I have 3 adorable and very sociable cats so.. if you're allergic.. it may be a problem.
