Hi there,
I'm a musician,born and grown up in Amsterdam. I'm married to a lovely woman ,whose hobby is cooking and we've got 3 beautiful musical daughters.One is playing saxophone in my band,one is a talented singer/songwriter
and the youngest sings about the stars in heaven.I sing in my nativ language about the life seen through the eyes of a sailor. I do also a lot of cultural projects in cooperation with the municipality of Amsterdam and museums like the Hermitage.
I combine historical events from Amsterdam with neighbour participation wich are ending up as a music/theater, performed in the city. My band 4Tuoze Matroze toured all over the world and I strongly advice you to visit one of my concerts, to get some Dutch cultural flavor..Iast february I bought a so called motor cruiser and we are making since then tours on the water with singer/songwriters,story tellers and musicians

I took the hat of former Sovjet president Leonid Brezhnev in Budapest in 1979
I could approach him on one meter,filmed him ..it was on our national television..google "Cees Koldijk in de wereld draait door"
I did many crazy things that hit the national and international press
