I have a real love and passion for travelling, it's what led me to living on the other side of the world, in Sydney for the past 8 years and making me a dual Irish/Australian citizen.

My absolute favourite part of travelling are the people I meet along the way. I love sharing experiences, learning about different cultures and hopefully having lots of "craic" (irish slang for fun) along the way.

My partner, Padraig, and I are currently travelling around the world & hoping to see & experience as many different countries, cultures, people & foods along the way ☺️

We were recommended to try Couchsurfing by friends we met island hopping in the Philippines in April 2023. They were on a year-long trip & spoke so highly of their experience with Couchsurfing, the fantastic people they got to meet through it & the friendships they have kept from it, so we are eager to experience this ourselves🙂

We are more than happy entertaining ourselves, but bonus would be to get to hang out with our hosts. We are outgoing, friendly, clean and consider ourselves fun :) If there is anything we could do in exchange for your hosting (Padraig LOVES to cook), please let us know.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

At the end of a backpacking South-East Asia trip in 2015, I missed my flight back home to Ireland and instead booked a one-way flight to Sydney (my family thought I was joking when I called to tell them I wasn't coming home and could they ship a suitcase of all my clothes over to Australia).

I am now an Australian Citizen and can confirm it was worth it ;)
