Sobre mí

"Don't wait any longer, because today you are the oldest who have ever been and the youngest you will ever be."

I am a friendly, helpful, curious, open-minded, calm and thoughtful Hungarian guy. If I sent you a request: Have you ever heard about Hungary? Not everbody. This is a small country in Middle Europe, maybe our nation is less than the population of your city. We have an own language which is a very unique and difficult language. According to some references the 4th most difficult language to learn in the world.

I really like to travel, discover new places and meet with new friends, even other travellers or locals. You can be sure I am interested in listening your stories and life.

The world opened for me in 2016 when I had to go to Sydney for 3 months. I have started to use my English there and I got great friends. Before this journey my world was only my country and the mountains in Transylvania and Austria.

My favourite places are always in the Nature. The high mountains, the deep caves and the forests. I like hiking all day, all week, I love to sleep in my tent (especially when it's raining), I love to wake up for the birdsong, to see the sunrise, I like observing animals. And I like when I have a beer or a bottle of wine and a friend with me when I hike.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

This is the best way I can try how locals live in their country. When I am there I would like to live like them, sleep where they sleep, eat what they eat.

I would like to travel and hike around the world and I would like to meet a lot of people. I'm curious for your culture, your language, your story, your traditional foods and drinks, the differences between our countries and cultures. I want to improve my English and Russian language and any language knowledge.
I want to pick up some Spanish and Mandarin Chinese as well.

Last, but not least also to get new friends. I have many friends in the world but I haven't met with all of them yet.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing? Because of the CS reunions:
x 1st with Xiangyu Wu (in Hungary)
x 2nd with Fatime D. (in Hungary)
x 3rd with Thitima Lee (in China again)
x 4th with Maryna Holovnova (in China again)
x 5th with Szabolcs Lukács (once in Romania, once in Hungary)
x 6th with Antonio Terra and Ada (in Portugal)

Couchsurfing experience:
x I have stayed with 19 hosts in 14 contries
x I have hosted 41 surfers from 16 contries

Algo increíble que he hecho

I hiked 2815 consecutive kms in Hungary in 2013, it took about 4 months (123 days). I slept in my tent when the darkness overtook me. I realized something under these months: the poors, the riches, the mayor, the policemans, the youngs, the olds, the Hungarians, the Gypsies, the Catholics, the Calvinists, the Baptists, everybody was good and kindly, everybody helped me somehow. This tour was a mind-opening trip in my life, its name is the National Blue Circle Tour. It was amazing and unforgettable.
