About Me

🇨🇴 I was born and raised in Colombia
🇨🇦 I've been living in Montreal for about half my life now, It's become my adoptive city, I know this town by heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did WWOOFing (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) in a couple of places. I also use iOverlander to camp in unexpected places 🏕

Even though I recommend it to anyone wanting to help small communities, right now I am looking for places to stay and people to meet inside cities and not on the country-side.

That being said, I see both communities as being the same beautiful idea of sharing, helping and travelling.

Interests

Travelling! Everything else I've tried as a hobby I just can't be as passionate and dedicated. To the point where it has caused some friction with the rest of my life. But I guess we all choose our own poison no?

I love cheap poetry, tacky posters, b-rated movies with ketchup for blood. Anything that mimics greatness feels like an achievable thing for me and so I find it interesting 😅

Music, Movies, and Books

There's this movie I am obsessed with even though I don't know what they say. It's a swedish movie I found once while downloading stuff in eMule. It's called A Swedish Love Story and it makes me feel many things ✨

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finding an internship in Europe and surviving with a really low salary there has to be one of them. It was THE final exam in my budgetary life. That experience helped me discover that as long as you have enough money for the basics ( food and clothing), you do not need anything else but will and a little craziness to find even more fulfilling ways to travel, discover and have fun. I understood that good memories and fun stories come if you look for them no matter your situation.
