Hi there! I am 21 years old with a birthday coming up in March. I am happily married to my lovely husband, and we are currently stationed in Jacksonville, NC. We live with our two cats and two fish. I am an avid reader, and I love to cook. I love being outside, hiking, camping, etc. I enjoy playing video games (Assassin's Creed, God of War, Shadow of Mordor, and anything fantasy that doesn't involve anime... don't really care for anime, as a matter of fact I can't stand it). I also love watching movies and spending time with my husband. He will be getting out of the Marines hopefully in March, and we will be moving back to Missouri.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am an aspiring Dietitian and am currently trying to take advantage of some military funds available to me that I wasn't aware of until a month or so ago. I want to take a course to become a certified yoga instructor, but I really don't want to drive 120 miles a day, 5 days a week for three weeks to take this course. I will if I have to, but if given the choice, I would much rather stay with some wonderful person who is willing to host me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taken two family trips across the US. One to SD from MO, and back through CO to see the Rockies, and the other with just my Grandmother and myself. We went to CA and back taking the same trip she took with my dad and uncle many times when they were kids. We saw the painted desert, the petrified forest, meteor crater, the grand canyon, Las Vegas, the "Pawn Stars" pawn shop, Indian Grinding Rock, and then went to see one of my grandmother's lifelong friends for a while, then drove back home. It was an amazing experience I am so thankful to have gotten to have with my Grandmother.
