About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see Northern Lights while laughing

ABOUT ME

I want to believe I'm an adventurer and not just a tourist, but I'm not sure it's the case. I'm a student living in Paris, I have been playing the piano for a long time and it's really good. I think I'm a funny person but in the way old people are; I'd rather have an interesting talk in a bad lighted room, than dancing like crazy in an electro club. I love walking, losing myself in places I don't know, seeing things, whatever they look like, and tea.
Also my mood is very dependent on the weather.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Me and my friend travelled around Denmark last year for a month, meeting some great couchsurfers. The following information was written last year, and I don't feel like changing it although I have probably grown up in a year. So you can expect me to be a bit more "adult" than what is written. But don't expect too much, it's only a year.

Interests

Everything that is way off the mark (which are the funniest things in life), musicians, poets, writers, or at least someone who'd like to be one of those. I'm really uncomfortable with blood and needles, and everything that concerns the intern parts of my body.

  • dancing
  • walking
  • clubbing
  • piano
  • kayaking
  • adventure races

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot, but if I had to enlist just the best:
Books: The Sisters Brothers (Patrick de Witt), anything from Emile Zola, Stieg Larsson, Russel Banks, Emmanuel Carrère or Romain Gary
Music: In a global way I'd say that I prefer "played" music, rather than electronic one. It depends on the mood and the moment of the day: in the morning, the Stones never hurt (but the soft side of the beast)(but C2C is perfectly fine).
Films: pretty much the same thing as for music, I prefer realistic movies about people's life, but there are a lot of exceptions too. I'm a fan of Kubrick's movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best memory I keep from my trips is one from Canada. We were kayaking for a week on a really big river which I forgot the name, and we were sleeping on little islands, and it rained the whole week. All our stuff wes drenched, everything was just extremely dirty and humid, the tent was flooded, etc. we pretty desperate.
And suddenly my friend decided to dive in the river, and I joined her. We were too floating bodies under a pouring rain, and it was a really big moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

In exchange, I can teach you how to speak french, to play the piano, I usually wake up pretty early in the morning so I can buy stuff at the bakery before you get up :) (people do this a lot in France, maybe it's just weird elsewhere).

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Malta, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
