About Me
CURRENT MISSION
After a year spent in Whistler working at the Pan Pacific Hotel as a Guest Services Agent I decided to move last fall to North Vancouver. I'm planning on spending the summer around here until my visa ends in October. Then I will probably go back to the French Alps in Val d'Isère unless something or somebody holds me back here ;) !
ABOUT ME
I'm an energetic 32yo who has already spent 1 month travelling around Québec (2015) and 8 months in New Zealand 7 years ago.
It was a huge change for me because I've hardly ever been outside France !! It was such a great experience to meet people from all around the world! I learnt a lot about cultures, countries and languages.
I also really enjoyed travelling around the country with just a backpack, a tent and foremost 3 lovely travel partners who made my trip unforgettable.
The only sad thing is I haven't seen a kiwi bird in 6 months but I'm not desperate yet ! Well,I keep on eating kiwi fruit, it might help, who knows ...
PHILOSOPHY
- experience life as if today was your last day:
* Do today what you'd love to do one day (never postpone to tomorrow)
* smile to life and life will smile you back
* don't look at the back but always far ahead
* don't be lazy, wake up and forge ahead, tear along. Your life belong to you, so it'll be what you'll do with
* try, Make mistakes but foremost never regret
* enjoy simple things: take a break and look at the hedgehog crossing the road
* Whatever happens to you, never forget your own values
- it's not money but human relations that will make you happy:
* hug your friends and tell your family how much you love them
* Be humble, by listening to others you will learn much more
* When you feel bad, think that somewhere else in the world some people lead a painful life
* When you feel alone, think that on this cruel earth there is somebody fond of you and always willing to help
*Be honest, tell a lie never helped
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It was just amazing !As soon as I heard about the concept I joined in straight away. Seriously what a great idea !
There is nothing more exciting and instructive than living for a while with people from the country.
All were so different and well worth to get to know! We found about 5 couch to stay over nights and every time our hosts were so generous and helpful.
I had such wonderful experiences that I will definitely offer a couch to travellers visiting LYON when I'm back home.
