Susann in a nutshell? Impossible! Don't like labels, but I guess I could be described as a little crazy, always learning, not entirely serious ... but what do these words mean? I don't really like web profiles but i would be very happy to host couch surfers in my flat, so here's some actual info u might want to have: I am a translator and I work half time at uni; I live with my flatmate Sabrina; I love Leipzig; but I won't stay here forever; I love travelling and learning new stuff; tha'enough for now?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Am hosting surfers and love it.

My surfing experiences were also great. In the beginning i sort of cheated and always surfed with people I had hosted before, but now, after my first proper couchsearches I gotta say, it's fantastic. So many different people! So many different ways of living! Isn't this world a fab one?

Interests

I like water (I swim, dive, and sail) and I like knowledge (I travel, read, and study) and as a general principle I enjoy trying new things.

The universe holds so much wonder, how could i restrict my interests... tell me anything - I'll listen.

I know a lot of shit and i like talking about even more ;) You want an example? Philosophy of communication: Most communication serves no other actual purpose than to tell the world "hello I am here" and receive a "yes, you are here" in return. We are social animals. Our existence must be acknowledged. That's why we communicate. At the same time it is completely impossible, not to communicate. As long is someone else perceives your existence, you communicate with that person, even when you're not saying anything at all. And then, all communication is faulty by default. When I say "blue" the notion my brain establishes has most probably nothing in common with the notion in the brain of the receiver of my words - if there is one. (I am collecting empirical data on this with my hair colour. And yes, above I said, I am not to be taken entirely serious ... and I am being very serious about this stuff ;-)
