ABOUT ME

Celine and I work a lot on our contradictions : she's so small, I'm so tall, she's so impulsive, I'm so calm, she talks, I listen ... but we sometime switch roles depending on the situation; except for the height of course. Hopefuly we get back together on important values of respect, justice and fraternity.

Celine is a Spanish teacher, works and live by her instinct. I, on the contrary, would never follow my "gut feeling", trying to calm things down, find options, pros and cons : losing lots of time very often ... and paying off sometimes. That might be why I work as an IT engineer while my background is more into management and my first career choice would have been into languages : big mess, too much thinking ! No mistake : I love IT and new tech, but I don't want to spend my life behind a computer.

We are both quite shy but once we get started ... you can't stop us talking, laughing and making faces and jokes !

I love surprises, she doesn't. We both try to be as helpful as possible and both HATE unfair situations.

She loves to cook food I love to eat :-),

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At last we hosted our first couchsurfer (Andrew) ! Either hosts, city guides or for a walk/talk, we're always ready.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A series of super experiences in Quebec, Portugal and the USA, with surfers from very different horizons. We love that and stay in touch with some of them.

Interests

Photography, Nature, Litterature, Hi-Tech & Science, Games (video, board, card), Cooking, Sports : handball, tennis, athletism and I'd love to discover martial arts. Celine is more into "fitness" : laughing every other second. Oh, also running and horseriding too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too eclectic for a short list but I like Jiro Tanigushi human experience as well as Sigourney Weaver performance in Alien or Bollywood dancers. Celine latino DVDs share the shelves with Ken Loach, Takeshi Kitano, Emir Kusturica, Eastwood, Redford ... Our CD "library" mixes rock, folk, pop, latin, jazz ... Celine reads a lot (at least compared to me) : Mendoza, Sepulveda, Juan José Millás, Nicholas Sparks, David Safier, Gilles Legardinier, Jane Austen, Armistead Maupin, Paco Roca...

Teach, Learn, Share

We would be pleased to teach some French or Spanish, give a few IT tricks and Celine would love to share recipes.
