ABOUT ME

I'm loud and friendly and can be pretty hyper in the mornings (after my pot of coffee). I graduated with me B.A in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and then moved to Austin, Texas where I worked in sales. After a few years, I got married and then moved to Denver, Colorado where I completed my M.A in Counseling and work as an on-call therapist. We also have one son and are learning to juggle this parenthood thing. My husband and I are currently trying to run a marathon in every state. So far we have completed Alaska, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, and Oregon.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my college and early career days, I loved hosting CouchSurfers. With a young child at home, it is difficult to host people in our home but am very interested in meeting others in different states as we complete our goal to become 50-State Marathoners.

Interests

I really enjoy downtown areas, especially if the city has a thriving downtown. Some of my favotites are Austin, TX, Asheville, NC, and Portland, OR. I love riding horses, especially through the desert. I am interested in every animal, I only have dogs though. I also enjoy running for health and biking to nearby locations instead of using my car.

The unknown can be the best thing. I think that is what CouchSurfers is going to be for me. I joined the organization and the next day had some CSurfers ask to stay at my place and it was the beginning of something wonderful, no doubt.
