Hi!

My name is Celeste, I'm African-American/ Kiwi-Irish and grew up in New Zealand. I've been traveling on and off over the past 2 years and living in the US in between my travels.

I've been travelling through Malaysia, Thailand and India over the last 6 months and plan to return home in the new year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet ups are a great way to get the low-down on a place from people in a similar position as you and to meet awesome people of course!

I want to see what life is really like eg. day-to-day living, local supermarkets, second-hand stores to see what types of things are 'pre-loved'. Keen to understand how locals view their country and hopefully get a good feel for it myself in addition to my own experience.

Interests

I like to experience as many things as possible and as a result dont have one single thing that I put my time into.
Enjoy connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, sharing stories and learning.

Love a good sunset and I always catch at least one in each country I'm in. If you know of a good spot in a place I am in or am heading to.... please let me know!!!!

Been to Monument Valley and caught a sunrise and sunset. Breathtakingly beautiful
