ABOUT ME

I'm a very fun, open-minded, and laid-back person. I like to hang out with all different types of people and have a great sense of humor. I love to laugh. I'm very passionate about the environment and love spending time in nature. I'm very friendly and easy-going and have an 'old soul'...I love anything from the '60s and '70s: music, fashion, ways of thinking. I try to stay positive and look at things for what they are; see the beauty in the imperfections that surround us. I'm a very adventurous person, and rarely turn down the opportunity to try something new or challenging. I have an obsession with mustaches. Right now I'm at a point in my life where I've gotten sick of the day-to-day of running the rat race and I'm looking to do something different and outside my comfort zone...and meet new people along the way. Two of my goals for the near future are to bike across the U.S. and hike the Appalachian Trail.

I love music, art, hiking, biking, running, camping, and kayaking. I like to spend my time outdoors and I go to a lot of concerts and music festivals. I run in a lot of races & I finushed my second half marathon this summer. I try not to take life too seriously and I like to take a walk on the wild side sometimes...

Music, Movies, and Books

My top 3 favorite movies are Wayne's World, Donnie Darko, and Almost Famous. I'm not much of a movie watcher, however. I have read a lot of Charles Bukowski and can't get enough of him. I also dig Kahlil Gibran quite a bit. As for music, I am a music junkie. I love classic rock & led zeppelin is my favorite band of all time. Once I get started talking music I could go on all day...it is a life essential for me, like water.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In September, I quit my job and hit the road in my van, Margie. Seeing places I've always wanted to see and doing it all on my own watch, with no one to answer to and no deadlines to meet!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to be able to play any musical instrument. I've attempted a few, but can't call myself an anything-player...that's why I love my egg shakers!
