ABOUT ME

2022: I'm working as a teacher in primary school. Besides that I'm working with a boy with autism and working with a bedridden female.
This schoolyear I decided to quit my jobs and discover the world again. So from August 2022 I'm out and free! Let's see what it will bring me :)

2023: It all changed completely! After months of traveling in the Balkan I decided to sell my house and almost all my belonings and to live a more free life. I worked with refugees for months in the Netherlands and in July I started a new trip to Central Asia, first stop in Kyrgystan!

I love to read books, listen to music, sing, go out and off course traveling!
I cycle a lot, long distance walking, bootcamp every week and I run occasionally ; )
I also do scuba-diving, just have to go to the exotic places... I did it at the Great Barrier Reef Australia, hopefully add some good places during my travels. Update: yes I did!

I love to travel, sometimes couchsurfing, sometimes hostels. Just exploring new countries/cultures is very nice!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2010 I went to Sweden and had my first CouchSurfing experiences. It's a great way to meet people and get to know the country! After that I did it in other countries as well.

In 2014 I had my first CouchSurfers, great experience!

In 2018 and 2019 I did a lot of Couchsurfing in a lot of different countries. I love this way of traveling, to meet local people instead of the touristic things.

In 2022 I wanna try Workaway as well, see if that's my cup of tea. I tried it and I worked out pretty nice, I came back twice actually..
In 2023 I will travel to Kyrgystan and neighbour-countries. Probably till the end of november, going home for a few weeks and then on the road again!
