About Me

CURRENT MISSION
My profile says I'm from New Zealand, and though I was living there when I made this account, I'm actually American.

I just moved to Kinsale, Ireland and I'm just trying to make friends and get settled in.

ABOUT ME

I am an engaging, creative, chef. I love to laugh cook and share, and I'm hungry for more. I'm going to eat my way around the world and hope to not be as round as the world when I'm done. That's going to require a lot of walking, talking, hiking and helping out strangers. I'm ok with all of that.

PHILOSOPHY

I wish I really had an answer here that I could be proud of, be "wowed" by, be left speechless... so I guess that's it.

Search for things in life that make you proud of who you are, that "wow" every day, and leave you speechless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet other surfers and share stories and suggestions. When I have a home I like to open it to others. I like to test drive people's couches and leave sweet remarks that let other people know how that experience was. I like to integrate myself into different communities around the world and find ways to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Being a couch surfer has been one of the best choices I made, second only to traveling. But what what is traveling if you go places with out going out of yourself? With out meeting people and letting your views of the world be changed? With out sacrificing who you are for what we can be together?

Interests

There isn't a lot that doesn't interest me. I find anyone who is passionate and good at what they do can make it an artform in its own right. Whether it be climbing, vaccuming the house, overzealous guitar solos or hacky sack its all amazingly awesome.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a vast list, and though it could potentially help us connect, I hate to say that I'm not filling it in. Nothing agains you nor music, movies or books... but life has so many things that draw my interest and just now it's the shinny rainbow out side...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I changed my life on a whim, in an instant, without a second thought. I found myself a few months later living on the opposite side of the planet with no friends or family, little money in my pocket, but the greatest feeling of joy and success knowing I had become the master of my own destiny and picked my life for myself. I have never looked back. Though I move continent to continent, though I have hard times, I live each day for what I dreamed it could be, and what I still know it can be... the best day I can make it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to cook with you or let you sit back while I for you. I can tell stories and water plants. I'm nice to elderly families and I'll eat pretty much every thing you put infront of me no matter how weird.
