ABOUT ME

I really dislike describing myself, it's always such a hassle you want to give a fair, unbiased description but how can one be unbiased about oneself? It's like how in interviews if asked to describe your strengths you go on and on about how you're perfect for the job, regardless of the validity of your statements.
I'm the most intelligent, creative, beautiful, and compassionate being on this earth. There a fair, unbiased description of myself :-) Right? This is also the first online anything besides e-mail I've ever joined...not sure how I feel about technology pretty sure I'm scared of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Be nice. Not overtly, weird check-out girl who asks how your child is doing in gym class (and somehow knows your child is in gym class) nice. But smile at strangers and have the patience, even when your hungry, to be kind to wait-staff nice. Everyone needs to do their part to make the world livable for all, switch out light bulbs for more energy efficient ones, buy gifts and products from locally owned shops, buy free-trade only. Don't promote or support inequality, slavery, and global domination whenever possible. As cheesy as it is remember to stop and smell the roses, nature is filled with beauty free to you to enjoy take advantage of it. There are so many problems in the world right now, there is no way for a single soul to fix them all but pick an organization that calls to you or that peaks your interest and volunteer for them or promote them in some way. Don’t dislike ANYONE without just personal reasoning, because you’ve heard that they are somehow unlikable does not mean that they are. Talk to them and if you dislike them fine don’t talk to them anymore but come to that conclusion on your own. Always allow yourself to try to accomplish anything and everything your heart desires, try not to harm others in the process and if you do try to reconcile. Above all BE NICE, at least smile it’s not that hard and it actually is good for you.

I've signed up. Other than that I support the idea of opening our homes to one another and allowing the exchange of ideas, humor, culture, and conversation to flow in and out of homes across the world via real people verses media conglomerates.
