Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I'm open to about anything. I don't like limiting myself to one or several genres. I usually try to get the widely acknowledged "best" albums of a genre and listen to it in order to see what this genre is about. I don't mind "commercial" music, as long as I like it. My favorite kind of music really depends on my mood so I can't really name one; if I should name a few of them, I'd probably say something like: chiptune, Drum n' Bass, Nu-metal (not anymore), Punk/Ska, Rock... but that would not be very accurate. I currently listen a lot of electronic music. I just discovered psytrance and it's awesome.
Instead of shamelessly naming tons of random bands, I'll just say that I've been listening to a lot of psytrance (and psybient) lately. Damn, Shpongle rocks so much.
And Philip Glass.

Movies:
I'm always eager to discover new things, and for that reason, I really seldom watch a movie more than once. I like movies breaking the conventions and having something original to bring. Films considered as "cult movies" are often worth watching.
Genres I like most: Drama, Science-fiction, Animation...
Some movies: most of Kubrick's movies, V for Vendetta, Welcome to Gattaca, Matrix, 1984, Crank, Wargames, Reservoir Dogs, Full Metal Jacket, Akira, South Park movie, Miyazaki's movies, JCVD, Monty Python Holy grail, Das Experiment, The wave, Existenz, Phone Game, Funky Forest (what), Scott Pilgrim, Donnie Darko, Enter the Void, Memento, Being John Malkovich, Altered States. THE QATSI TRILOGY.

Books:
I like reading science-fiction, anything related to the geek/computer science culture, and sometimes philosophy. I also love to read books considered as very important for some culture, so as to understand it better. For instance, I have read the nordic poetic edda, the bible, and plan to read the Kalevala next. I also used to read a lot of mangas. I'm currently reading Lovecraft.
Some books: H2G2, Ender's game, the Mahâbhârata
Some mangas: One piece, Naruto, Death Note, Dragon head, Ninku (seriously?), Battle Royale, Monster. Also, how could I forget mentioning Tezuka here?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in finnish frozen sea? :)
Participating in some crazy TV show (in French: Interville)
Plenty of stuffs in my lucid dreams. Does that count?

Teach, Learn, Share

Computer science (and most particularly security), hip hop dance (mainly breakdance, but I know basics of popping, locking, house...)
