My name is Celina and I am 22 years old. I am originally from Germany but I am living abroad since the last 3 years.
I am studying organic farming at an organic agricultural College in Denmark. The education is split up in theoretical parts which are taking place in Denmark and Internships in which we students are free to work in farms in other countries.
Therefore I am most of the year in other countries exploring different ways of living in balance and in respect of nature.
I find myself at the moment living and working in Iceland and I am planning to do so for at least 1/2 a year more.
I love nature and all her wonders and enjoy working with my hands in the soil. I am always happy to experience different, alternative ways of doing things on a farm and in life.
My goal is to to be part of an active change back to a more harmonious way of living :)
A way in which farming respects and supports nature and vice versa.
I enjoy experiencing different ways of living together and to meet people with different stories and dreams along the way.
The moon, the stars, the beautiful flowers and the smallest insects excite me and water calms me.
I love to observe and follow my thoughts as much as I enjoy a good portion of laughter.
Animals are close to my heart and I enjoy their company and caring for them.
I like to be cosy inside and enjoy a good Day reading or playing the guitar as much as I love to be the whole day out and about- I think I am all about the balance between the two :)

My aspiration is to follow what life offers me and grow with each coming day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I love to travel and I love it even more when I can meet shinny souls while doing so.
For me its one of the best ways to dive deeper into the dynamic of the place and the vibe of the people living there. I think that stems from my endless curiousity, which makes me love listening to peoples diverse stories.
I believe we me meet every soul we come across for a reason, with a lesson to teach. I like to have a good laughter as much as a deep talk with people.
To make a long story short-I found it inspiring meeting many different people with diverse backgrounds who are willing to share their home and hearts with strangers :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting an old men with kind and warm eyes in the middle of nowhere in the mexican mountains which ended in a very natural handshake and a small conversation in broken spanish which trully revealed to me in such a simple way that the beauty of human nature and life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a nerd about farming- especially when it comes to alternative ways of cultivating the land and working with animals.
I got my fair share living and working on farms in different countries and I am happy to share what I have learned and what I am learning through my way of living with everyone interested :)
I love playing chess, not meaning that I can teach it but I can share my love for it in a good partie ;)
