Hi there, Im Celia from China.
The big three in my life are Art, nature, and animals ..
I love painting since i was little. Well at first I took it just as a hobby. My bachelor degree is applied physics (which i like as well cause I am a logical person and always like to figure out why and how things are going the way they are). But I found its not easy for me to sit all day in the lab with math, so after I graduated I found a job in a gallery doing writing and exhibition planning stuff. It seemed more fun for me, then I went to the Uk for my master study in Arts Management.
During further study, I began to do my own art works in photography and painting. I choose the work subject which combine science, nature and art such as the beauty in science experiment, the material structure and so on . After I came back to china, I did arts marketing and planning job for a while and also do my own art works as a part time photographer and artist . Now I just started up a small web shop selling affordable art works for mass consumers, hoping to bring arts to everyones' life and make life more colourful.
Nature is another affection of mine, I always like to see the world with its most primitive and natural appearance. Ocean, river, mountain... could never see them enough. This‘s the major motivation of my travel. : )
I love animals sososo much.. I am a semi–vegetarian, don't eat mammals since I realise they all have emotions and could feel the world and their own experience just like the same way as we people.
I have six cats and a dog currently, most of them was street animals before, now they are my family and beloveds. Although they are kinda the big trouble when I'm traveling, but its the most sweet trouble I would never ever want to let it go.. haha
hmmmm, if u read till here, I would thank you for ur time for my plain story ha, and i promise i would revise it to be more interesting later..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly to Making friends: " when you could not go out to see the world, you can let the world to visit you! " thats why I'd like to host interesting people from world with their unique story. Although I don't have much experience in hosting cause I moved to a little tiny place since my first hosting . But I will try to began hosting later after.

Secondly, hope to find couches for my future travels to save some spends and also to meet people to know local life better..

Also it would be great if any local friends would like to hangout together. If you interest, we can go to the Museum, Gallery, Nature park, zoo, market, Library, theatre, and dramagrabbing a drink or go running ... interested to explore different kinds of local life in any way ...well just not very into restaurant hunting cause Im on simple semi–vegetarian diet ha .. However, If my host has busy timetable, that do not have spare time to go around, I'd be also totally fine with it to be just a nice roommate... : )
