About Me

I'd describe myself as a friendly, communicative and easy-going person! I'm somewhat in between of a nerd always looking for knowledge and a hippie always looking for peace with myself and the ones around me.

I like drawing, painiting, reading, writing poems, meeting friends, relaxing near a lake, taking long walks, hiking, travelling around, playing card games, learning languages - and so on, there is no end to this list :)
Those hobbies made me choose to study history of arts and german linguistics in Freiburg (Germany)I'm now in my third semester:)

I also like dancing a lot, have done ballet for years, now I recently switched to Tango Argentino, Salsa, Bachata and Forró :)
I am especially fascinated by modern art and by crazy architecture - so I enjoy walking through cities and visiting art museums!

Apart from that I started some rugby and I ride the bicycle (not that much for sports, just for cominh around)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to go out more, see more, meet many friendly people and get to know their culture, their city, their personality, their food and their language :) How else could it work better as when staying with a local? ;-)

I just recently got hosted for the first time ever, and I completely fell in love with this concept: It is such an open-minded way of different cultures meeting and of really feeling inside of me the beauty of peope!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almolst every kind of music, from electro, rock, over reaggae and Jazz to classical music - it all depends on my mood:)
Bands I like are: Infected Mushrooms, Glass animals, Yes, Snarky Puppy, Beatles

Books are my treasure, I couldn't choose a favourite from all those wonderful works, but Hesse's Steppenwolf definitely makes it to the top:) Also love postmodern dramas, e.g Urs Widmer's "Top Dogs"

My Favourite Movies are the ones with a mindblowing plot twist: The Sixth Sense, Inception, Mr. Nobody, Butterfly Effect, Benjamin Button

Love the series Westworld and Beaking Bad:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couldn't choose between spending 6 weeks in Vancouver (Canada) at age 16 and my very recent trip to the 'Rätikon'-mountains in Switzerland, traveling for 4 days in pure wilderness including a snow storm whilst having the most fascinating view on mountains I've ever had before!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a language lover, I am always trying to share my knowledge about the languages I know, but I also love to be taughed some words or even concepts of languages I haven't learned yet:)

As I'm originally from Luxembourg, I can teach you some Luxembourgish and tell you all the secrets of this little place in the heart of Europe :)

I also love cooking and want to know as many recipes as possible:)

The Thing I really wanna learn: playing the guitar, talking to you in your language in case I already have some basic skills:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an openminded, relax person, and low-maintenance! Still looking for doing some activities together, but with no pressure - everyone can just take as much time for me as it suits them. I bring along a lot of curiousity, the will to communicate and to learn about you!

Can teach you some luxembourgish if you want to and I'd love to cook or prepare some food for you!
