I have a house in Italy, and during periods when I am in USA, couch surfers are welcome (usually Santa Fe, New Mexico).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even without this network, I am often hosting travelers, and being hosted as a traveler. It is a pleasure to meet people, and help keep expenses down.

In addition to the arts and social welfare, I am interested in ecology, horticulture and nature. I am interested in history, and my outlook is global. I am a hospice caregiver.

My taste in music is broad: opera, rock and roll, folk, traditional, instrumental, vocal, drumming. Likewise for movies and books.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a life-long learner, and I teach drawing and painting. I help people write their memoirs, and am writing mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation (I lived in New York City for decades, conversation capitol). Good french pancakes (crepes), and other cooking. A great curiosity. Sense of humor.
