About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Feel alive, keep moving, enjoy the simple things

ABOUT ME

Hey all :)
Im calm and easy going, love to dance, adore cooking and eating good food. I like to go out but also stay in and play games. Ill probably clean your kitchen for you...

PHILOSOPHY

I do my best to stay busy, keep healthy and be active. Focus on the good in the world, and don't hold on the the negative. Let go of the things you cant control or change. Do things that you want to, even if they make you look stupid (and try your best not to care). Remember to do things for your self, and stay true to what you believe in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Ive been involved in couch surfing for four years. Unfortunately I haven't been able to host as much as i would like, due to not really having a permanent home. But I have had some great experiences with people letting me stay with them and showing me around their city. One day id love to return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in college, my roommates and I hosted five German surfers for one night, and it was so much fun for both sides. They bought enough food and drinks that i think it would have been cheaper for them to get a hotel. But of course then they wouldn't have got to hang out with some fun California locals :)

Interests

I love to do things that make me feel like i have a purpose in life. But more generally speaking, hanging out with friends, dancing, swimming in the ocean, eating good food. Lots of good food. Staying busy and enjoying peoples company :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading "State of Wonder" by Ann Patchett. Great book and author. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a well written book that accurately shows the complications of human feelings and lives

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my favorite experiences was backpacking around Southeast Asia for a month and a half with a good frined of mine. I had never felt so free to do whatever I wanted and so present in living life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to bake a cake, bread, or pie. Help out with some gardening tasks. I can show you how to knit , maybe a hat or wristwarmers. I'm sure there are other things I could show you, but those are a few that come to mind.
As for learning, lately I've been very interested in trying to skateboard or rollerblade. Im not entirely sure why, it just sounds fun.
