About Me

I guess I'm the result of mixing a love for architecture, reading and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that this kind of sharing platforms are one of the best features of the internet. Getting a better insight of an area by a local, the possibility to talk and exchange knowledge, plus cheaper prices that allow more and more people to travel.

Interests

I love reading a good book, listening to music as well as playing it in my violin, watching series and movies... I always love a good conversation (but also know when to enjoy silence), swimming in the sea whenever I can, and of course travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Muse, Franz Ferdinand, Jack Johnson, Two door cinema club, Fito y Fitipaldis, John Williams, Joe Hishaishi, classical music...

Movies and Series: Spirited away, Cinema Paradiso, Interstellar, "1,2,3", Game of thrones, Friends, Modern family...

Books: Shantaram, "84, Sharing cross road", Mi planta de naranja-lima, Harry Potter (well, of course!), and actually anything by Paul Auster.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived the Yanshui beehive firework festival. Basically it consists of wearing as much clothing and protection as you can (including a motorbike helmet pretected with towels) and placing yourself in front of a 2.5 meter high shelf loaded with hundreds of small fireworks DIRECTLY AIMED TOWARDS THE FESTIVAL GOERS. Meaning you get hit by those fireworks everywhere, and you end up hiding behind a car with tons of adrenaline rushing through your veins.
This is then done several times in one evening (:

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic music knowledge, maybe some tricks with poi, and of course we can practice speaking spanish or english if you're not fluent but you want to be.
I would love speaking french or chinese, to practise a bit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As for sharing, I think there's nothing a nice conversation can't beat.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Philippines, Turkey, United States
