About Me

Due to my work, I cannot say a long time in advance whether I'll be able to host or not. Write to me not earlier than 10 days before you want to visit. I can only host one person - or two who are willing to share a sofabed.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Rome for work not long ago and so am not an expert on Italy nor the city itself. If you contact me for those purposes you will be disappointed. Sadly. However, I am pretty sure you will laugh at my feeble attempts to speak Italian when ordering aperitivos, so the acquaintance might be worthwhile all the same :)

Despite my best intentions, much of my time is spent at work and as a CS host I'm not normally able to dedicate as much time as I would like. I love sharing travellers' tales though and miss the good old backpacking days

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new, interesting people. Sharing points of view, and views of places. I don't really like the trend of sending out mass couch requests with no personality. Living in Rome, the number of requests that come through are a bit daunting - make yours interesting and show me you've actually read my profile. Also, please don't send requests for sometime in the future; I can only say about 1 week in advance whether I'll be able to host.

Interests

things in life in no particular order: chats with friends, writing, music, art, research, flowers, books, hikes, swimming, running, mountains, ocean, brunch, poetry, theatre, friends, trust, sharing, jazz, bicycling, inspiring architecture, films, laughter, learning... (the list goes on)

PHILOSOPHY

The best way to predict the future is to create it. Lets get to work!
