About Me
Hi! I'm a professional pipe organist finishing my master's degree at the music school in Leipzig. Music is my passion.
I'm from the US, but I signed my very first apartment lease in France and got my first surgery in Germany. It's been a wild ride.
I consider myself a sociable introvert, and I'm always down for adventure.
I enjoy hiking, as well as any outdoor activity. I also love getting to know new people and learning new things from everyone I meet. I enjoy reading and writing.
In my free time, I save leftover food from restaurants and bakeries at the end of the day and redistribute it. I'm also a Christian if that matters to anyone.
I have had a lot of health issues the past couple years which have made me have to rethink the way that I travel but I'm really excited to finally do it again.
If you like honest conversations, I'm your girl ha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had amazing experiences as a couchsurfing guest so now I really want to give back and try hosting. I think it's a much more fun and affordable way to get to know a city, especially if you're traveling alone. Also, I have made so many great friends through CS, and the amount of people on here that I've seen for a SECOND time is kind of incredible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Classical, indie folk, and organ music that goes BOOM BOOM BOOM
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to France. Taking a 6 day hiking trip through the Smoky Mountains with complete strangers, hiking 10 miles after hitting my head on a rock, sleeping on the ground in pouring rain and 50 degree weather, hiking up a 400-foot sand dune, setting off fireworks on a deserted Lake Michigan beach, lying in the streets of Gronigen. And also shaving my head when I got bored of my hair.
And then moving to Germany. Getting a stoma bag. 5 surgeries in a foreign country. Lol. What a life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can play organ for you! And happy to spend time over a drink or meal. I also love cooking and trying out new things. If you have a mysterious health problem, I can give you advice as someone who has spent way too much of her 20s in a hospital lol.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good sense of humor, help with English, music (if you have a piano), and whatever you need help with, maybe cooking, (I am very neat), shared experiences, laughs, etc. I SO appreciate and respect hospitality and do not in any way want to take advantage of the generosity of hosts!!!
