Overview
About Me
I am currently in between the end of high school (where I studied Maths, Latin and Ancient Greek) and the start of university (where I hope to study animation). I grew up surrounded by different cultures; my father is English, my mother Dutch and I grew up in France.
Communication and community are very important to me and things that I am constantly seeking to experience in different ways and to discover how others define them.
Being about to start an animation degree, I love how films are influenced by and challenge the society they are from, and our relationship to storytelling and visual arts are things I am still trying find out and define for myself and I could discuss these things endlessly.
I have a strong adventurous spirit. Having lived for too long in Oxford after the free joy-de-vivre I experienced in France, I have developed a longing to discover and absorb other places and cultures of the world.
I am sociable but not loud and I respect other's homes and ways of life, making me a good guest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To see more of the world, meet more of the people in it and to live unconventionally while having new conversations and to discover new ideas and lifestyles.
I would love to discover amazing places most people wouldn't think to go. I love nature too.
Interests
Visual arts have always been extremely important to me and I am hoping to study animation at university.
I draw and paint alot and also do a lot of photography. I am also an avid film watcher and music listener.
