About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world and become a veterinarian.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a friendly and easygoing person. I appreciate the new perspectives that I get from interacting with different kinds people and exploring new things. I love adventure, but I also don't mind quiet evenings inside. I feel most alive when hiking in beautiful natural areas, particularly forests and mountains. I am hardly ever bored because I can find almost anything fascinating.
I am currently studying to become a veterinarian and loving it!

PHILOSOPHY

Try to see as much of the world as possible, and be open to new experiences. Life is an adventure, but a little bit of caution and planning can also be important. I also try to treat the Earth and everyone on it as kindly and respectfully as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered Couchsurfing in Florianópolis, and was very intrigued by the concept. I hosted a couple of people at my house in San Luis Obispo, which was a very gratifying experience. It even encouraged me to go out and discover new places in my own home. I would like to keep up with couchsurfing in other countries, as I think that meeting locals is the best way to really explore a place. Also, as a long time member of the Berkeley-Sakai sister city organization, cultural exchange is very important to me.

Interests

Hiking, camping, exploring, rock climbing, tree climbing, reading, drawing, dancing, cooking, gardening, playing the violin, playing games, spending time with friends.

Pan's labyrinth, Princess Mononoke, the Fall, Memento, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, Rabbit Proof Fence, Up, Lord of the Rings, The Nightmare Before Christmas

I'll listen to almost any kind of music, though I tend to pay more attention to particular songs than specific bands or musicians. I especially enjoy haunting melodies, or music that connects me to something else.
