Hi, my name is Celine, I'm 22 years old and from Germany.
I graduated in my Bachelor of Science (physical activity and health/ psychology) on the university of Giessen (Germany).
Now I am studying M. Sc. Biomechanics, Motor Activity, motion analysis. (Biomechanik, Motorik, Bewegungsanalyse)

I was dancing (showdance) for quite a time and recently started dancing Contemporary. I'm a gymnast for 16 years now and I started to play Tennis again. (I played for about 8 years and had to stop because of moving due to University).

I really like to read sometimes and I enjoy drawing. My passion is in art and design but also in music (I actually learned to play the clarinet for 8 years). Although I learned such a classical instrument my interests in music are a little bit different. I actually can say about myself that I am really listening to every kind of music despite of "Deutsche Schlager" and Blues/Jazz. But I DO love to listen to metal-/hard- and deathcore and go to concerts. I also got a passion about hardbass (russian) and trap.

As you may notice I am not the typical girl although I look pretty normal in the first place.

I am a really loud person and like to talk a lot. Some people might be saying that I am kind of crazy but I think everyone got his or her own opinion about that so you have to find out.

I'm living together with my bf in the centre of Giessen, Germany. We have to perfectly good couches for you on which 4 people can stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In summer 2016 I was on a roadtrip with a good friend of mine in Canada (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario) and the U.S. (Chicago and New York City). On that trip I realised (especially in Chicago where I was a couchsurfer myself) that meeting new people from different cultures, backgrounds and other countries is the most interesting and enjoying thing I've ever done in my life. So I decided to join Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourtite music is Metalcore, Deathcore and Hardcore but don't be "afraid" I'm also listening to "normal" music like trap, hip hop, dubstep and the latest charts. Of course I'm also listening to music from my country (a german rap band called K.I.Z).

My favourite book is "the book thief" from Markus Zusak. It is about a girl in Germany around the second world war. The most interesting aspect of this novel is that the narrator is the death itself which reads the diary of the main character to the reader.

My favourite movies are Crank, 300, Inception, Harry Potter, Matrix, Scary Movie, Life of Brian etc.

I love that quote because being in your own head leads (for me) to overthinking things and bringing yourself down.

You just have to try your very best and to be your very best and to stop comparing yourself with other people. There will just always be someone better than you. You can try your best and just do better than you did yesterday.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You can actually get a really really nice couch and some nice evenings on that couch playing games or something. If I have the time I can show you around in Giessen and we can Boulder together or something like that.
