Hi, I'm a student currently studying in Japan.
I grew up in Penang, Malaysia in a very adventurous family. My family loves to try new things and that had influenced me in also wanting to try new things and explore my surroundings. I've experienced much adventure out of the city during my younger days. Therefore, I always had a dream to travel around the world to explore different culture and experiences. Meeting new people and exchanging cultures has always been fun to me.
With this opportunity of me studying in a foreign country, I would love to travel around and open my eyes to sceneries, adventure, culture and the people. Can't wait to learn more about the country!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was first introduced to couchsurfing by a friend.
Then I realised that travelling doesn't need to cost a lot and the most important thing is we get to interact with the locals directly. By doing so, I'll be able to experience and absorb the culture in a very authentic way! I'll also be able to share my country's culture to other people. Other than culture, we'll be able to share anything under the sky!
As I'm a student right now, couchsurfing would be an excellent choice to travel and explore.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music especially R&B, classical and country. However, I still find it hard to accept hard rock.

I have no specific favourite movies. But I watched Harry Potter more than 7 times. I enjoy all types of movies as long as the plot is nice :)

Compared to fictional books, I prefer self-help type of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping in Gua Tempurung, Malaysia - Very fun experience!
Did bamboo rafting and rode on elephants - Grandpas trip
Snorkelling in Pakmeng. Thailand - A memorable trip
Crawled through the caves and went through the water tunnels in Gua Tempurung, Malaysia
Made an impromptu trip to Malacca, Malaysia with friends by renting a car and driving there - Being crazy with a bunch of friends
Going on a "Jinja" hunting session after class - Cycling our way around town with google map in our hands ;D

I still have a whole bucket list to tick off! As they say "YOLO" - You Only Live Once!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always wanted to learn new languages, the country's cuisine, snowboarding and skiing etc. I'm interested in anything new~~

I can teach you my language(Malay or Chinese or even some Chinese dialects) and traditional nyonya cooking but up to certain dishes ;)
