Me

I’m an easy going person. I’m quiet and responsible but can also be very impulsive and spontaneous in my decisions. I can’t bear routine and the thing I like the most in life is to travel, so to become an independant and online professional appeared like my best option to put all these criteria together and I am very happy like this! I’m an active, social and positive person, I like to hangout with people and get to know them, I am fascinated by the different cultures and ways of life it exists on earth, the different ways to feel, see the world, people really interest me, that's why I am a slow traveller. I like to explore one place in all its aspects.

My life style

I live sharing flats and houses. I like to have my moment of lonelyness but I don't like to live alone. Cooking with my roomies sometimes, plan to do sth together, having someone to ask me how I am everyday makes my life cosy anywhere I am in the world. I lived in 3 different countries, in more than 20 different houses and sharing with more than 50 different people from so many cultures (Argentina, Chile, Spain, Czech republic, Peru, England, Uruguay, Portugal, etc.) I rent a flat in Palma de Mallorca, even if I am not spending a lot of time there, when I do, I like to receive the friends I made during my trips, or the friends of my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned so much more from people than from school. Each person is a universe and can show or teach something new to the others and inspire them, just with its way of being and its way of life. I'm always curious to discover new people, just sharing conversations and experiences, life.

Couchsurfing gives the feeling of community so it get easier to reach the people and the people to reach you. I use to use more the Hangouts option than the surfer option of the platform when I am travelling but I had a couple of very nice experiences with hosts.

I enjoy litterature, music, lindy hop dance, photography, circus, handicraft, nature, travel and discover new ways of life, cultures and activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite eclectic for the music!

I love Jazz and Swing (Nina Simone, Chet Becker,...), Bossa Nova, South American Music (Silvio Rodriguez, Jorge Drexler, Caetano Veloso,...), la Chanson Française (Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf,...), Classical Music (Bach is my favorite). For the moment you might think that I'm 65 years old hahaha but no...

I also love Reggae, Ska, Rock, ... I'm not really aware about electro but sometimes I discover something I really like (tribal most of the time).

Relating to movies I'm really bipolar! My favorite genres are fantastic or based on true stories. Same for literature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a French and Spanish teacher so if someone wants to practice I would be happy to help!

I'm looking forward to improve my English understanding of colloquial language so I can start translating movies and series from English to French and Spanish.

I'm a translator so if you want some help to translate your website or any other support I'm open to implement a kind of "workaway" deal the time I last to do the job.

I'm French so, as a good French girl, my best option for a nice relaxing evening is to share a good conversation, accompanied by some good wine, bread and cheeeeeese. I am also quite good in cooking dishes I discovered during my trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, good energy and fun, all of this cooking them a nice diner. I love to cook. My cooking has been influenced by all the countries I traveled and the people I met. So you can expect traditional French cuisine as well as the most authentic peruvian dish, or fusion from different gastronomies.
